    • I hope to make it to my 24-hour birthday today 12:30 pm MST. I am going to make myself a “chip.” I still crave the chase, the odds going my way, the “belonging” feeling, the relief from depression, the sickness. Yes, I am sick of being sick, but …..I need the grace and prayers of the higher powers and fellow travelers on this road. I need financial recovery and a new positive purpose in life —- and the strength to do my best in that new purpose. The same energy I waste in gambling needs to be towards a gambling-free life. That needs to be my new high, my new excitement, my new belonging. — Thank you for listening. And thank you to all who write on this site. I don’t know how to Zoom or tune-in. Just writing.

  2. YEP, can live without it. if there was a true possibility of winning on regular time. they wouldnt have giant buildings in lost wages, and all the casinos, just popping up all over the land. lottery tickets being mathematically impossible, its just plain stupid odds. slots, give me a break. read where slots make between 200 and 300 a day, and makes very little jobs. dice are fun to watch people lose their money. blackjack. play long enough, they will most of your money. Break even, feel like ya won. I can do that. by not going. glad virus has shut down the casinos long enough, for really chronic players, could feel the way it should be. yep, i can live without it.
