the act of selfless givin is an uncharted journey in my recovery. sharin my recovery story with those willin to listen, infused with self-honesty, brings me immense joy as i navigate the challenges of overcomin my disease of alcoholism. recently, i came across a news article about a man who was arrested and charged with murder; he is someone to whom i had previously shared my experience, strength, and hope, attemptin to help him in any way i could. it is a stark promptin that underscores the importance of stayin true to my path of recovery. his situation profoundly serves as a poignant reminder of the potential consequences that await me should i revert to the days of doin my dirt. today, i am fortunate to live free from many of the dangers associated with negative behavior, thinkin, and action, allowin me to embrace the joys of good livin. recovery continues to serve as an ongoin adventure filled with both challenges and triumphs. 1 day @ a time…
