Located in Chula Vista, California, Chula Vista Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a leading provider of medication-assisted treatment for adults age 18 and older who are suffering from addictions to opioids. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) combines the use of prescription medication with talk therapy, offering a truly comprehensive approach to the treatment of opioid addiction. Decades of research demonstrates the effectiveness of MAT, and it is highly recommended by agencies like the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and the National Institute on Drug Abuse. Many methadone clinics only offer one type of medication, but the staff at our outpatient MAT program can prescribe methadone, naltrexone, Suboxone, and buprenorphine, depending on a person’s needs and the state of their health. These medications can reduce the distressing symptoms of withdrawal, helping patients place their entire focus on recovery. In addition to medication management services, we also offer group and individual therapy.
