About Burkwood Treatment Center

Burkwood Treatment Center is located right outside of Willow River State Park in Hudson, Wisconsin. At our center, we treat adults who have struggled with addiction and/or mental health conditions. We provide care for the abuse of substances such as alcohol, heroin, cocaine, opioids, and prescription drugs. Additionally, we Pl a large focus on treating co-occurring disorders such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and bipolar disorders. We supply many different programming options for those who come to us for care. These options include treatment, continuing care, family programming, and our MAAEZ program, which stands for Making Alcoholics Anonymous Easier. Through our programs, many different therapeutic interventions are offered. These include the 12-Step model, experiential therapy, group therapy, process groups, guided imagery, individual therapy, family therapy, and more. At Burkwood, our team, which is comprised of addiction specialists, counselors, a psychiatrist, a registered nurse, and mental health professionals, go above and beyond to treat each patient.
