About Salem Comprehensive Treatment Center

Salem Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a premier provider of outpatient opioid addiction treatment for adults age 18 and older. We provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which is an evidence-based treatment method that combines the use of prescription medication and therapy to treat opioid addiction. Government agencies like the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) consider MAT an optimal treatment option for individuals who are struggling with opioid addictions. At our treatment center in Salem, Oregon, we offer prescriptions for buprenorphine, Suboxone, naltrexone, and methadone, which is different from other methadone clinics that can only prescribe one type of medication. The specific medication a person takes is determined based on their needs and the state of their health. In addition to monitoring the medication, our team also provides individual and group counseling. These sessions help promote lasting sobriety by offering time for patients to learn coping skills to help manage their addictive behaviors while also receiving the encouragement they need to be successful in their recovery.
