Located in Escondido, California, Escondido Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is the area’s leading outpatient opioid addiction treatment center for adults age 18 and older. We utilize medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which is a form of treatment that combines talk therapy with the use of prescription medication. Decades of research has proved the effectiveness of MAT in the treatment of opioid addiction, and it is highly recommended by agencies like the National Institute on Drug Abuse. While some methadone clinics are only equipped to provide their patients with one type of medication, we are able to offer prescriptions for methadone, Suboxone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone. Each patient takes part in a thorough assessment prior to admitting to our program, and the results of that assessment help our team determine which medication is most appropriate for them. Additionally, our treatment center offers group therapy and individual therapy. By having the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a counselor as well as in a group setting with other people who are struggling with addictions, patients can gain the support they need to successfully navigate their recovery journeys.
