Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Located in Tigard, Oregon, Tigard Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a premier provider of medication-assisted treatment for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions to opioids. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is a unique form of opioid addiction treatment that combines the use of prescription medication with counseling services. The FDA-approved medications used at our treatment center significantly lessen the symptoms of withdrawal, which can help patients refrain from continuing to use opioids. Unlike traditional methadone clinics, our CTC offers prescriptions for four different medications, including methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone, and Suboxone. The specific medication a patient receives a prescription for depends on their personal circumstances. Patients then have the ability to participate in individual and group therapy, which gives them time to process their experiences one-on-one with a counselor as well as with others who may have gone through similar struggles. Our outpatient campus provides ease of access to care by offering services in a convenient location.
