Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Vancouver Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a unique type of methadone clinic that offers care for adults who are struggling with addictions to opioids. Unlike traditional methadone clinics, Vancouver CTC utilizes medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which combines the use of medications with counseling to ensure that patients benefit from a comprehensive approach to opioid addiction treatment. Patients at our CTC may receive prescriptions for methadone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone, depending on their needs. These medications have proved to ease the symptoms of withdrawal so that patients are less likely to continue their opioid use and can fully engage in treatment. Additionally, patients take part in individual therapy sessions, where they meet one-on-one with a counselor, and group counseling sessions, where they meet with other patients who may have had similar struggles. These therapeutic components offer patients the space to process their experiences while also sharing support with their peers. Our treatment center is conveniently located in Vancouver, Washington.
