About the Meeting:
Each Sunday, moderator/facilitator Harriet Hunter reads an excerpt from her book of daily meditations, Miracles of Recovery. She invites participants to talk about what the reading means to them personally. The meeting aims to share visitors’ experience, strength and hope with one another. No need to have the book to participate—the only criteria is your willingness to join!
About the Facilitator: Harriet Hunter
Harriet spends much of her time working with other alcoholics and has mentored and coached hundreds of women behind prison walls, through sponsorship, and by being of service. Wherever she is needed is where she can be found. This includes “Journaling with a Purpose,” a six-week course which Harriet facilitates. Visit www.harriethunter.org/jwap. Encouraging and helpful, Harriet carries the message of sobriety by reinforcing the necessity and importance of having a change of perspective at every turn. She sums it up: “My God, My sobriety and Me are the three most important things in my life today.”
Harriet is a participating member of FAPA (Florida Authors and Publishers), where she received her distinguished President’s Medal-Award in August 2019. She is also a member of Tallahassee Writers Association (TWA).

So glad to see Harriet Hunter featured on your inspirational and valuable website. I have found real personal help through her wonderful book, “The Miracles Of Recovery” and happy to know there will be a Podcast in the Talk Show Format! Hooray!
