If you want to help your loved one seek treatment, they have plenty of options for where to find it. Once they’ve narrowed down the type of program they’re looking for, they have three great ways to find one perfect for you.

  • The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Helpline: This 24-hour helpline, run by US Department of Health and Human Services, can be called to receive information about addiction and confidential referrals for substance abuse recovery programs. Call 1-800-662-4357.
  • Recovery Resource Hub:  This comprehensive website compiles all types of recovery programs and resources- like housing programs, drug education, treatment centers, and advocacy groups. They can be found by searching through a certain geographical location or through a certain program. Visit it now.
  • In The Rooms Recovery Directory: Our treatment center directory lists some of our favorite centers from around the world-  you can find one close to home or one on the other side of the world. It can be accessed right here on our website.

These resources will help your loved one find the perfect residential treatment program, an outpatient recovery program, an addiction counselor, or a group meeting. However, if they’re looking for a program rooted in the future of recovery, check out In The Rooms
