The In The Rooms founders, Ken Pomerance and Ron Tannebaum, met up virtually with Joseph Gorordo, Vice President of Outreach at Recovery Unplugged, to talk about the pandemic and its effects on the recovery community.

Recovery Unplugged has kept its treatment centers open throughout the duration of the pandemic, ensuring that everyone still has access to all levels of care. To do so safely, they’ve implemented new procedures to keep patients and staff healthy and safe. Kenny, RT and Joseph talk about the impacts of the pandemic on the recovery community in general, and discuss how those dealing with addiction in a state of isolation might cope.

These recovery gurus express gratitude for the partnership between In The Rooms and Recovery Unplugged. They’ve helped each other help others significantly throughout the years, sharing each other’s resources with those looking for assistance.
