i do enjoy the inner peace i have today. not fearin every wakin minute of whats gonna happen next. this learnin process has provided me with serenity. i have the decision today to keep what is gittin to me, or give it away to my HP. i can remember the days of doin everythin i wanted to do no matter the consequences, ignorin proffered advice, and tryin to force my way through life only to hear, “i told ya so!” who loves hearin that? even in recovery i am force fed humble pie sometimes, though it is far less than days prior it still happens. ive discovered, when i take the successful suggestions of others in recovery that have been through similar situations, which i may be currently goin through, and put their suggestions to use, rather than forcin my own will upon it, whatever it may be seems to go easier. my life in recovery has been full of these lil occurrences and i am grateful fer em. i have been able to experience serenity from bein humble and lettin my HP guide my ways. as the readin suggests it is a nourishin ingredient i enjoy experiencin each day. it tastes far sweeter than humble pie. 1 day @ a time…
