my daily reflections…

in many ways i am still workin on repairin the damage i had done to others and myself. i cant say that i really wanted to approach these people and admit the wrongs i had done. doin steps 6 and 7 helped me in doin this. i had to call back upon those 2 steps to find the courage and strength to approach these people, askin God to help me through the process of makin amends, by becomin willin. my will was to just let it go; His will was to make these amends. as the readin says, i had to fall back on the promise i made to myself to get better by doin whatever i needed to let these things go. i still rely on steps 6 and 7 today. sometimes it is still hard fer me to remain humble and admit my faults to others, but ive gained an understandin if i dont continue to do these rather simple things, my chances of remainin sober and in recovery are slim. 1 day @ a time...
