i just totally love the gifts my recovery has given me. one of my favorites is the ability to give and share the grace God has awarded me fer doin, what i perceive is, His right action. i can remember, not so long ago, all the takin i did. i thought it was my right to get as much of whatever it was that i wanted. today, i receive more than i could have ever imagined by just doin the opposite, tryin to give. the demands of receivin have left me fer the most part and the treasures i receive from givin have become akin to my life. they may not be the material or emotional supports i once demanded i receive, but instead are the spiritual and emotional compliments in life which give me peace, love, and serenity fer each day. as my time in recovery has passed, ive learned how to grow, nurture, and evolve the gift of givin from within. 1 day @ a time...
