my daily reflections…

i am grateful i was taught what true humility is. i always thought i had it while i was drinkin. today i joke and mess around a lot about my ego and have fun with that, but today i know who, and what, i really am. i no longer have to live up to anothers grand expectations, or even worse, ones that i place on myself, which are even higher than what someone else would put on me. today, i get to rely on humility granted me by my HP, i can just be joel. anonymity has its place in my recovery. ive been gifted an intelligence on when and how to use it. it is with this proffered intuition i get to practice it alongside humility. 1 day @ a time...
