my daily reflections…

today, i am thankful, and grateful, the only requirement fer membership in this thing we do, is a desire to quit drinkin. it helps me remember i need to try to keep my life simple as well. when i go to tryin to make too many rules, or requirements, fer any one activity in my life, it usually ends in disaster. hell man, i even make up requirements that i cant even live up to myself, let alone anybody else. i can remember from past experience doin just that and not accomplishin anythin and fallin to alcohol to sooth my beat-up ego. keepin my life simple, at times, is hard enough to do without added silly requirements or rules. today, though i may follow others rules, i try not to make so many too difficult fer myself. i feel like i know where i would be today if i hadnt surrendered and accepted where i had lived myself to. acceptin life as it is, usin tolerance i am a much better man today. i understand just how blessed i am havin not been excluded from this thing we do. ty Lord fer thinkin bout me, im alive ’n doin fine. 1 day @ a time…
