my daily reflections…

it was a lesson fer me to learn, i had turned away from God fer many years and it cost me. although i know today that He had always had a hand on me, durin the days of doin my dirt, i lived by my self-will. i placed a strong dependence upon other people to get me thru life, even more so upon myself. i had always had rather good LUCK when it came to gettin work or gettin the basic things in life i needed to succeed, but there was always somethin missin. i learned when i started practicin the 12 spiritual principles this thing we do offers, this had to change. i watched as others put Him in front of emselves and succeed. i needed this dependence upon somethin greater than me to make my life changes, and it couldnt be people, places, or material items. as the readin suggests, it was God that i needed. since comin into this program and puttin forth the action required by puttin His will in front of mine, to the best of my ability, my life has changed. i no longer need to have a drink or use other people to get ahead in life. i can put my faith and will into somethin which truly helps me to succeed. i have been blessed. 1 day @ a time...
