my daily reflections…

ever since i can remember i couldnt wait to grow up to see what my life would bring. i could just see i was headed fer greatness. i always wanted it to come as soon as possible. i never really tried to put much into it coz i always thought it would just come to me. i mean, aint that posed to be how it works? well, i have grown up now and recovery has taught, and shown me, nothin grows in the dark. it is up to me to put the foot work in, and step out from self, into a new lifestyle, i cannot get it by osmosis. this 12-step program has taught me many things, 1 vital, i wont get anywhere just sittin on my ass. i could have never got recovery without puttin the action into changin my life. 1 day @ a time...
