there are a few things i can do to make sure my recovery is maintained so i get to help preserve this thing we do fer others. service work is one of the most important things i can do, givin and doin, somethin fer the program without expectation of return. carryin the message to others who still suffer is another of greatest importance. the practice of each of the 12 spiritual principles throughout each day, no matter the whirlwind around me, is a show of how i choose to preserve this thing we do fer others. i know, and even more so understand, without this great thing we do, i wouldnt be able to live fer too much longer. repayin it in any way possible is, in itself, a form of self-preservation fer me. this may sound selfish to some, but ensurin it goes on, makes way fer others to live without the confinements of alcoholism also. remainin honest about who i am encapsulates my resolve to remain sober and in recovery. constant reliance upon my HP will help me to remain honest with myself and others. 1 day @ a time...
