i love the powerful traditions of this thing we do. i have learned how they work through the 12 steps and was taught the 12 traditions are why they work. by livin the traditions, as well as the steps, i am able to live a successful life without alcohol. i no longer have to allow my alcoholism to let me fear the past nor the future. i get to feel how uselessness and self-pity can be bygones. there is freedom from the fear of people and insecurity. and today i can intuitively handle things which before, i would run and hide from. all of this coz today, i choose to practice and live by the powerful traditions of why this thing we do works. my HP has so integrally arranged this program so there are no fail processes in it. the only way fer me to fail is to NOT do what has been asked to apply to my life. even as i may hem-haw, pussyfoot, or dance around choices presented, how often have i made decisions, and by some act of chance, or even, providence, changed my mind only to find out later if i had gone with my original decision, i would have faced ultimate disaster. they are lessons i need to learn from. how intuitively, or anonymously, have patience, surrender, acceptance, tolerance, or willingness, become principles which i get to use, seemingly spiritual in nature, to enhance the spiritual experience of my spiritual development. 1 day @ a time...
