my daily reflections…

as the alcoholic fog i had lived in fer so long began to dissipate and a sort of clarity of mind came to me, i gradually listened to what i was hearin in the rooms. as i was experiencin what it felt like to begin facin the hell my life had become without alcohol, i cant say sanity was what was happenin. but listenin to others who were sober, talkin shit over with my sponsor, and talkin with some of the others in the halfway house i was in who were truly lookin to change as i was, i felt like an investigation into this Higher Power thing was somethin i should do. just as this morns readin suggests, i cannot say on what day, or what specific occasion happened, but i did make a decision to start tryin which turned into doin and havin. i reckon the clarity of mind was the beginnin of sanity returnin to me. today, ive grown so much and have made so many changes fer the better in my life. i can say i do have a great relationship with my HP. 1 day @ a time...
