my sponsor asked me when i first came into the rooms this last time, if i had a “God problem”. my answer was somethin like, “ there may be somethin out there, but what ev it may be, i dont believe”. he suggested i try usin the program of Alcoholics Anonymous as an HP. that made sense to me, it seemed tangible enough fer me to make a start in my journey toward recovery. as this flounderin belief grew, i eventually transformed that HP into the God of my youth. i learned from my sponsor which ev HP i chose, it did not have to be any conception i had learned in my youth, or anybody elses conception, it could be one of my own. today because of the works ive seen my HP do fer others, in their lives, myself, and my life, i have a firm belief, faith, and relationship with a God of my understandin. 1 day @ a time...
