learnin how to pray and meditate took me a lil time. as with much of my early recovery i had to throw out lil bits and watch fer results. it did not suit me to hear others tell me it worked, nor did it suit me when others said, just have faith. but as i did try, and time went forward, the unexpected did happen, and most def when i put the behavior and action into my prayers. today i get to say that one way to help me manage any stress in a healthy way, is through prayer. through prayer, ive learned how to manage my emotions. God still lets me live my humanness, but it is usually short lived. it works, even when i dont want it to. it works when i put the works into faith. 1 day @ a time...
