i reckon acceptin my humanness was much easier when i first came into the rooms. sometimes, today, i can let my self-will run me into self-pity and try to go to blamin er’body else fer the shit goin on in my life currently. im quickly reminded of how those times back in the days of doin my dirt only led to emotions which i had no control over or could not manage. today, havin a few days in this thing we do, ive learned how to honestly look at the situations and circumstances which used to cause me to buy a 1st class ticket on the blame train. when i truly look at and assess the reality of any condition causin me trouble i can resolutely find somethin within thats botherin me, usually an ego or false sense of pride problem, stemmin from some form of fear. i get the opportunity to learn even more ways the spiritual principles of recovery can help me move forward in my recovery. these are the things today i get to become willin to set matters straight. these are the solutions ive learned from step 4, which help me to accept my humanness, still bein a part of my recovery today. 1 day @ a time...
