it took the 4th step personal inventory and 5th step share with my sponsor to identify just how strangely insane i had been in protectin my alcoholism. some of the shit i did, today, seems comical, some is just downright tragic. the look into the insanity with my sponsor provided good, clear insight, as to how i had allowed my behavioral, emotional, and psychological states to be influenced by the insanity my alcoholism produced. airin it out, gettin it all right down on paper in front of me, and discussin it with my sponsor allowed me to see how todays common sense, was uncommon sense then. over the years ive honed skills through recovery which allow me to sense when i am startin to let the insanity my alcoholism produces get me to feelin out of place. when i sense these feelins, i must right away get with my HP, make contact with another trusted friend in recovery, and start helpin others. 1 day @ a time...
