my daily reflections…

when i allow self to be affected by blame fer anothers, or my own, actions, behavior, or words, without a spiritual defense, i become susceptible to self-centered induced, resentment. when i allow this to happen, im headed fer my next 1st drink. and as my recovery has taught me, it aint the big shit that will get me, its all the lil shit, built up over time, that will be the killer. if i havent taken the time to study my personal inventory, learnin what character defects or shortcomins can be affected from harborin resentment, studied em with another alcoholic, trusted friend in recovery, or most importantly, my sponsor, i aint got the time to ask my HP to help me use healthy solutions and apply em to my self-righteous want to solve em by myself. the bondage of resentment, fer me, is a real event that has, the real life, ability to cut me off from the priceless asset of communication, relationship, and grace of my Higher Power. 1 day @ a time...
