recovery has taught me an age old passage ive heard throughout my life, but never tended rightly to, “happiness comes from the inside, not the outside”. as ive studied my character defects, character assets, and shortcomins, ive become familiar with em. ive learned how they affect, and how i may react, when confronted with em. i cannot say i am “the master of my domain” in that arena. what i can say is, ive become aware enough to be able to sense when my self-will is tryin to control my behavioral, emotional, psychological, and spiritual well bein. ive practiced what i need to do when i feel em tryina take over. recovery has provided solutions fer those times instead of me relyin on old patterns of pollution. today i get to share with others solutions to the problems i face. all i can do is remain willin to humbly share my experience, strength, and hope. whether received well or not. happiness or unhappiness, whether a goal or not, comes as i simply express a humble and lovin spirit from within. 1 day @ a time...
