my daily reflections…

i have tried to stay sober by myself, i could NOT do it. the only way i have been able to maintain my recovery up to this point is with the help of others in recovery. even as i may have support from friends and family outside of recovery, i still need to nurture and maintain the relationships i have with those in recovery. its worth statin again, i CANNOT do this recovery alone. i cherish the life i have today even though i still may struggle at times, i have solutions and relationships that help me through times of rough goin. it is important that i not only remain an active participant in my own recovery, i must also remain an active shareholder in the program for others wellbein. i know where i would be today if there werent others in this thing we do when i came into the rooms. i have got to do the same for others. unity is one of the legacies of this program, its an opportunity for me to continue to grow my own program of recovery as well as help the program itself. my sober life today is a happy, hope filled, journey. ive been shown a way to let loose of loneliness and remorse when i am stricken with it. it is through the relationships and fellowship i have with other people and with God. yeah mannn, sacrifice is a part of my recoverin life just as sufferin is. but ive also learned the value to me of each. no matter how i feel, so long as i trust my HP, i can use that faith & hope to live through bad times and good alongside others usin the practicality of this thing we do. even when i dont understand how or why shits goin on around me, i have the hope that i can trust that my HP is beyond my finite mind helpin me do the shit i cant. its my show of these practices to others that help the program remain strong, united, filled with hope, and ongoin. i own a responsibility to ensure there is recovery for another. 1 day @ a time...
