my daily reflections…

it is my belief, based on my experience before and after recovery that without the whole of this thing we do, there could be no recovery, unity, and service toward others for me. i need to know that there are others who are exactly like me, who understand the disease of alcoholism i suffer from on a personal level. im blessed today to be included within the circle of recovery. i get to be a part of somethin far greater than i. with these three legacies, or bequests, i get to live enjoyin freedom from my disease of alcoholism. recovery gives me the direction and suggestion on how i can live a life that is fulfillin for me and those i come into contact with. unity lets me understand that i am not alone in my struggles. service allows me the opportunity to share my recovery and the awesome power, strength, and courage, that i perceive my HP wants me to. i cannot think of a better way to live the justice or promises recovery offers in step 9. all i gotta do is remain open, this moment, to the healing touch of my HP. when i do this i dont falter or faint by the wayside, but renew my courage through prayer. 1 day @ a time...
