today, i can readily use self-examination, prayer, and meditation in my mornin communion with my HP. it is with these concepts i get to check up on my personal inventory, pray to my HP on how i may be useful for another, usin the self-examination to work upon relievin myself of what ive found, and listen quietly and intently for my HPs guidance upon how i may use what ive found positively, with healthy measure. this allows me to do a few things. better build my relationship with my HP, continue to work on healin myself movin away from my flaws & shortcomins, and become useful, buildin better relationships with those i interact with throughout my day. i also get to keep livin the change recovery extends to me with the amends i made to those i had harmed in the past. the actions turn into behaviors, which turn into transformational changes in my thinkin patterns. over my time in recovery, lookin back, i can see how the compensation package of the many promises throughout each step have changed me. i just received a text message last evenin from a friend in the fort wayne area that said, “fort wayne misses your wisdom and personality!” those kinds of messages tell me the changes ive made have been noticed by others. no, its not important to me that people notice, whats important to me is that the revisions recovery and my HP have helped me make, have helped me live the change recovery offers. it allows me to grow with confidence within that im movin away from the person i used to be. it shows that the self-examination and the trust i have in prayer and meditation have worked. its a reminder that if i continue to do these daily actions, i get to continue to develop into a person ive never been before. how excitin is that? i get to keep on bein content with the happiness that comes when i do the right thing. today as i go smoothly through my day i will remember that God is in charge, rather than me. 1 day @ a time...
