what a glorious thing it has been to watch recovery work in the lives of others. it is one of the pleasures i have been blessed with witnessin as i have grown in my recovery. comin from some of the worst sorted places a person can come from physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally, people who find recovery as a new way of life are given exactly that, a new life. bein able to watch this transformation in a person leaves me no reason to believe there is not a God. bein able to live next to, socialize with, and work with people who are strivin for the same means to an end as i am, is a true blessin. i work with many in recovery, some men make it work for them and some men do not. watchin them as they learn more about themselves and honestly take the time to learn how they can be better people is a joy to me. as i work with them, i too get to learn more about myself. my recovery evolves, as does theirs, as we grow and learn together. to have made friends in this thing we do, whether they, themselves, make recovery work for them or not, affords me the opportunity to show another how my recovery works for me and what my HP has done for me. it is through these relationships that i get to grow spiritually, as i freely give away, without judgment, what was freely given to me. ty Lord for thinkin bout me, im alive ‘n doin fine. 1 day @ a time…
