there are several things about this program of recovery that have worked very well for my sobriety and recovery. usin the spiritual principles certainly is the one thing that has made the biggest difference in my life. they are the same for all who come into recovery, but each of us may use them in a vastly different manner than the other. i was taught early to use what i could to better my life and let go of the things that i couldnt. keepin in the stream of quality recovery, i am able to do exactly as was suggested to me. the result is the same for all who have used this thing we do to better their own lives, sobriety, and then recovery. the means by which i am able to accomplish the identical result may be different, but the principles remain unaltered creatin a common solution. havin people around me who are like minded and seekin the same goal as i am helps me in my recovery. i get to exchange my interpretation and perception of the 12 spiritual principles of recovery with them and be open-minded enough to listen to their interpretation and perception. this helps me to fine tune and hone my own understandin and beliefs of what they mean to me which is a guide to how i should try to live them myself. the common solutions that we share are enacted in my life as i interact with others, whether they are in recovery or not. these principles contained within the 12 steps help me in ALL my affairs when i choose to use them as a basis for my relationships with others. 1 day @ a time...
