my daily reflections…

12/24/2022 for me to live a sane and happy, useful, life today, i must keep my head in the clouds constantly seekin my HPs will. this does not mean that i forget my responsibilities to others or myself. keepin my feet planted firmly upon the earth allows me to fulfill those responsibilities; i get to live the spirituality that my head finds in the clouds. i ask my HP for His guidance and then listen so that i may live that guidance with those i come into contact with on a daily basis. the two ideas mentioned, or spiritual principles if i may, help me to receive and live my personal spiritual experience. there is a time for me to pray and meditate upon my HPs intuitive guidance. with this guidance i get to practice and use what i gain from it in my daily activities here on earth. i get to gain spiritual experience as i interact with my fellows. tryin to live a spiritual life without the recognition of my physical life, does me no good, just as does tryin to live a physical life without the recognition of my spiritual life, does me no good. they are interwoven together so that i may be useful to others and myself. i have to use em both to gain the rewards of sanity and inner happiness that my HP has to offer me. those who came into the rooms before me, taught me how helpin another alcoholic reach their sobriety, has helped me discover that it is impossible to give without receivin, or receive without givin. ive learned that carryin the message, keepin my head in the clouds, and feet firmly on the ground, i get to experience the solutions which come from direct and specific action. when i keep a deep sense of obligation, i get to gladly serve others out of deep gratitude for what i have received. 1 day @ a time...
