my daily reflections…

i start each mornin askin for, and listenin for, my HPs will and grace just for the day. this IS the reason why a vast majority of my day i am at peace with life. especially on such a day as Christmas. what a blessin it is to awaken to each new day knowin my HP has His hand on me. what a blessin it is to awaken each day with the forgiveness, hope, open-mindedness, willingness, and love to serve others. i have been given such a gift in life, not only a rebirth from my youth, but a second chance at life with my recovery. i have been blessed with the ability to look within and see my wrongs and blessed with the cognitive ability to understand them. i am able to learn from those mistakes, make adjustments in my behavior, and make the proper amends. i have been offered a relationship with a Power greater than i and been given wholesome friendships within the fellowship of recovery. today i understand how to accept who i am and am at peace with life. with these gifts i get the opportunity to carry the hope and vision of Gods will into all my activities. 1 day @ a time...
