at meetins is where i get to meet others sufferin from the same malady as me. i get to learn how they managed their situation so i can then try to apply the similarities to mine to hopefully fix em. i get to learn how hope led them to faith, how their HP worked in their life. i also get to share my difficulties and strengths so i may potentially help another. for me, the understandin that i am an alcoholic, acceptin it as what i am, and surrenderin to it, has given me the ability to become humble. havin humility in my life allows me to be open-minded enough to allow faith to be somethin i can strive for each day. attendin meetins, bein active in my own recovery by doin service work in this thing we do, creates pathways for growth in my faith. it gives me an opportunity to see the fellowship work in others lives so i can build hope and an even stronger faith in my HP. bein active in my recovery is important for me, if i allow nothin good in, nothin good can flow from me. by unblockin the spiritual malady that had stricken my life for so many years i have been able to be guided by my HP on a path toward faith. 1 day @ a time…
