my daily reflections…

as i began to put into practice the things suggested by my sponsor and the big book, i was taken aback by the fact that they really did work. of course, i really didnt jump in and do the big things, i did the little things 1st, so i could evaluate em. i always thought i knew best and that if things didnt meet my approval they wouldnt work. after examinin the results and allowin my HP to lead me, i found shit gettin better. this thing we do does work. it is a daily reprieve fer me against my biggest foe, me. when i 1st came into this thing we do, all i wanted was to quit drinkin, thats all, clean and simple. i had tried many times before on my own and was never successful. this program of spiritual action was what worked. i didnt think anythin else was wrong with me other than my drinkin. i learned through its spiritual principles i had many problems that needed a good ol’ fashioned fixin and overhaulin before i could truly stop my drinkin. i was offered a solution to my alcoholism that required me to work on my inner bein. as a result of that work my drinkin ceased and my alcoholism has been put to rest. though i know i may never be cured, today i have a solution that really works fer any situation i may find myself in. 1 day @ a time…
