my daily reflections…

without hope i dont think i would be here today. today i woke up sober not regrettin the actions of last night or my past. today i hope that i will make just 1 more day. it is the action i put in yesterday that guides my hope fer today. with the help of my HP, i have hope that today will be better than yesterday. somethin i didnt have before i came into this thing we do was hope. i had lost all and any desire fer anythin good to happen in my life. i had no hope. when i was first startin my journey into recovery i watched others as they had seemingly changed their lives usin the spiritual principles of this God given program of recovery. i didnt know if this would work fer me or not, i had tried so many other times before. the thing i didnt try was askin my HP to help. even through all my failure and misfortune i never thought God would or could help me. others in the program seemed to have been able to make it work fer them by usin their HP, so it was truly the only hope i had left that it would fer me as well. today my HP is workin in my life, even when i do get discouraged, all i have to do is get with another in recovery, and hope becomes part of my life again. i get to live the hope that others have given me. 1 day @ a time…
