my daily reflections…

i was speakin with my sponsor once about service work in the group. i asked him how long i should do any one thing. he told me that 2 years is good enough. he said if i do more than 2yrs i may want to form an ownership of the position and that is not what the group is about. he said we need change; it is vital to the existence of the group. i am grateful i am willin and able to do service work and am always willin to see change. it has been my experience, when i am able to give as much time as i can to this thing we do as i possibly can, the rewards i get to experience are endless. the best reward i get is another moment in recovery, another moment sober. bein of service helps me more than it probably ever will the fellowship. it gets me out of self and allows others to receive and benefit from this great God gifted program. carryin the message can take many forms fer me, simple service towards recoverys ongoin effort to help others get what i have gotten, is a great pleasure fer me. 1 day @ a time…
