to be able to share somethin that to others would mean certain disaster, then come out of the mire livin a sober life, and passin it on to others is, for me, a great responsibility i thought i could never undertake. i dont know how successful i may be at sharin what i have been given, but i know, right now, i am sober for livin it. sharin my experience, strength, and hope, is somethin i dont mind doin. if i can help another by tellin how it was, what happened, and what it is like today, i am all for it. passin along this great gift of recovery is my responsibility as an alcoholic in recovery. relayin to others the struggles i had while out doin my dirt, and explainin how recovery helped me to finally provide the courage to overcome those struggles with a few simple suggestions, is my goal when i am sharin. i know not all will relate, but maybe, just one will, even if its only me. lettin my HP shine through me, i get to do this, i can be a bright spot in someones life, and a beacon of hope; the great paradox to alcoholic sufferin is recovery. 1 day @ a time…
