my daily reflections…

i cannot even begin to tell ya the miraculous ways this design fer livin has worked in my lifes rough goins on. i can tell you this; it has helped me through terror, through bewilderment, through frustration, and through despair. these are the times when i thought nothin would be better than a bullet through the roof of my mouth. im so grateful this thing we do brought me to a personal relationship with my HP. i no longer have to suffer through the bitter morass of self-pity and loneliness. i have been through so much in my recovery. i have lived through bad health problems, lived through the death of friends, and loved ones, lived through character defects and shortcomins, and lived through relationships that didnt fair well while in recovery. i have also lived through innumerable great moments in recovery, the birth of grandchildren, watched children graduate and get married, watched them go off to college and graduate, hell man, ive even earned 4 degrees myself in recovery. i have done all these things, plus multitudes of other life events that are far too plentiful fer me to mention; all, while in recovery. through all of these life changin events i have had one thing in my life remain a constant, recovery. there has been a bazillion reasons fer me to have, just, 1 drink. what ive used to get past those times is this design fer livin that really works in rough goin. this thing we do has always supplied me the answers to questions i could not answer alone. i am truly blessed to be able to be a part of such a wonderful God given gift. 1 day @ a time…
