my daily reflections…

i cannot recall when i lost the ability to control the drinkin i did back in the days of doin my dirt, but i do understand today, i did. i do not know when i decided to make decisions based on self to use alcohol to solve the personal problems i had, but i understand today, i did. today, years away from my last drink, i have a choice. i get to make decisions based on a different lifestyle which includes others. they are not always so self-willed. when i look back, i get to inventory the decisions i made that left myself and others in harms way. i can clearly see what character defects and shortcomins were the impetus fer harm. i get to use what ive learned through this thing we do to take advantage of the lessons ive taken the time to educate myself on. when i couldnt stop myself from takin that 1st drink, today i get to experience the honesty of freedom of choice. 1 day @ a time...
