strivin fer a self-determined, selfish, objective, isnt what recovery teaches me to do. it has taught me to be selfless, thinkin of how i can help another instead of takin from em. as i move toward helpin others, i work toward a life which is more like the perfect objective of my HP. it is a determined effort willin to aim toward His perfection. i may never reach said perfection, however the behavior i enact toward it changes my emotional depth/intelligence, and psychological level, of thought consciousness. willingness requires me to use a level of humility i havent been introduced to, to this point in my recovery. surely ive surrendered, accepted, and learned to tolerate my alcoholism, but this is where i truly begin usin my perceived HPs will to step further into a person new to me. it is transformation. 1 day @ a time...
