one of the key lessons ive learned throughout my recovery journey has been the importance of restraint in my speech. back in the days of doin my dirt i often seized opportunities to voice my opinions, driven by an egotistical desire to display my intelligence. today i understand how recovery has instilled in me the value of humility and active listenin. i now recognize the value of listenin attentively and seekin guidance from my HP. learnin to restrain my urge to dominate conversations not only fosters deeper connections with others but also allows me to receive insights from my HP and the experiences of those around me. by prioritizin listenin and sharin wisdom only when appropriate, i get to cultivate a more meaningful and supportive approach to interactions, ultimately enhancin my recovery. this approach allows me to absorb insights and, when appropriate, share my experiences with others. embracin this principle of active listenin has proven beneficial on numerous occasions throughout my recovery. 1 day @ a time…
