before my arrival in pensacola, i had a conversation with a friend durin a meetin in fort wayne that has lingered in my mind. he remarked that i possessed the key to life and happiness for others, suggestin that with this key, i could help avert death and sufferin in those around me. at the time, i smiled at his comment, and we shared a laugh, not fully graspin the profound implications of his words. however, as i have reflected on my journey and the personal stories shared with me in recovery, i have come to appreciate the significance of that simple statement. throughout my recovery, i have gradually opened up about my own experiences durin meetins, recognizin that sharin my story can serve as a beacon of hope for others. the weight of my friends words has transformed into a commitment to service, motivatin me to continue my path of recovery while supportin those who are navigatin their own struggles. i may not know if my friend will ever read this, but i am grateful to him for illuminatin the shadows of my past and inspirin me to embrace a brighter future. 1 day @ a time…
