in my early recovery, learnin to free myself from the grip of my emotions was a significant challenge. to be candid, this process remains ongoin. embracin my feelins instead of resistin them has allowed me to experience vulnerability and connect with my humanity. throughout my recovery, i have discovered that openin up to my HP, confrontin my fears, documentin them, and sharin my insights with others, while engagin in self-reflection, regardless of whether i find the truths i uncover to be comfortable, enables me to strive for improvement each day. this learned behavioral approach allows me to embrace my identity as a regular human bein rather than remainin stagnant. the concept of communicatin with my HP and my sponsor, to guide myself toward emotional sobriety through the principles of the twelve spiritual principles of recovery echos deeply with me. by engagin with the process of recovery, i get to find a pathway to healin and growth. when i have an accurate and balanced view of myself, recognizin both strengths and limitations, without arrogance or self-deprecation, i get to experience the essence of true humility. 1 day @ a time…
