the commitment to bein present for the unity and fellowship inherent in our shared journey is significant to me. reflectin on my past, particularly the dark moments i faced at the end of the days of doin my dirt, serves as a powerful reminder of the potential consequences had it not been for the sacrifices made by others to foster the unity of this recovery program. my experiences in recovery have instilled in me a deep sense of humility, which is essential for contributin positively to the collective strength that our community embodies. i have come to realize that the legacy of unity is a vital force within me; without it, the path of recovery would be insurmountable. my attempts to navigate life alone, devoid of alcohol, were not only futile but nearly cost me my life. it is this painful history, coupled with the emotions that shaped it, that empowers me today to embrace humility and actively participate as a valuable member of this thing we do. 1 day @ a time…
