Perseverance in Step Ten means maintainin a vigilant and disciplined practice of daily self-examination, an ongoin moral and spiritual inventory that keeps me aware of my motives, attitudes, and actions. this step is not a task i complete and move on from; it is a way of livin that demands honesty, humility, and consistency. my recovery hinges upon my willingness to look within each day and to invite my HP into that process, especially when my thinkin begins to drift toward the days of doin my dirt of self-will or complacency. the big book reminds me that my alcoholism is a subtle foe, patient and cunnin, waitin for the moment i stop payin attention. by pausin throughout the day, askin for divine guidance, and listenin quietly for the answers, i remain teachable and grounded. Perseverance here is not about perfection but about presence, the daily choice to stay spiritually awake, to admit when i am wrong, and to realign with the principles that sustain my recovery. 1 day @ a time…
