Hi I'm John and I feel blessed to have six and a quarter years sober. I will tell you this if you would've told me at that time, I would be clean and in the path I'm on, I would have told you, "IMPOSSIBLE!" But I'll let you in on a little secret... Although it might feel, or seem like it sometimes it isn't IMPOSSIBLE. You can do it just like I did. The number one thing I can say, is I didn't and couldn't have done it on my own. Please listen, and understand because I didn't and I kept falling backwards until I got it. The thing is there is no reason to not reach out and ask for help or guidance. But for some reason in the addiction mindset, the thought of me needing someone else's help for me to stop something I was doing just struck me as absurd. In the end letting people in was the last missing piece that myself and I feel like some others need/needed to finally get and keep some solid sobriety. Thank you have a great 24 and keep coming.
