my daily reflections….

i was asked once to speak at a sponsorship workshop on the 4th and 5th steps. the question was asked of me, "once i have taken a sponsee through a 4th and 5th step is there ever a time it should happen again?" my answer to this was "yes." fer me, things still arise in my life that often are very taxin on my emotional, psychological, behavioral, and spiritual health. even as i may have an understandin of how selfishness, dishonesty, resentment, and fear, are some of the root causes of current problems, have practiced managin em with a 10th step daily inventory, they may still linger, and become a growin problem fer me. i fuss and fidget over em until the problem becomes my HP. when this happens, i need to look at em deeper, and really dig out what is happenin to find their root causes and conditions. well, i reckon, if this happens like this fer me, it just may happen fer others as well. it is then that i get out the paper and pencil and take care of the problem usin the courage and integrity ive learned through prior spiritual principle. im grateful my HP has allowed me the opportunity to live and practice this thing we do. i understand and can comprehend what steps to take today to maintain emotional, psychological, behavioral, and spiritual health. it is my understandin, perseverance doesnt only mean i live and practice the principles i choose fit, it means i live and practice all the spiritual principles to the best of my given ability at any moment in time. sometimes, i may even get to help another by merely speakin my current perceived truth or reality. 1 day @ a time...
