im down with how service work is spoken so much of in this thing we do. i have learned it truly is a savin grace when i am beatin myself up. my sponsor started teachin me this principle early on. i would tell him of some personal struggle i was havin and he would tell me, do service work, help another alcoholic. it didnt matter if i was cuttin someone elses grass or listenin to someone else talk about their problems, the point was to go, get out of myself, and help another. as i continue forward this is somethin i try to pass onto all who come to me with their personal strife after listenin to em. fer me, it truly is a priceless reward which works when all else fails. 1 day @ a time...
